Mission Peak, 7 Miles, 3,000+ ft elevation

Our hike to Mission Peak hike from the Ohlone College trailhead filled with breathtaking views and was a rewarding challenge. We started early in the morning, enjoying the cool breeze and the peaceful surroundings as the trail gradually climbed uphill. The route offered stunning panoramas of rolling green hills, the San Francisco Bay, and the surrounding valleys. Wildflowers and grazing cattle added a charming touch to the landscape, making every turn picture-perfect. The final stretch was steep but exciting, and reaching the iconic Mission Peak summit felt incredibly satisfying. Standing at the top, we soaked in the spectacular 360-degree views and captured plenty of memorable photos.

After a short break to enjoy the scenery, we began our descent with a sense of accomplishment. Thanks to a steady pace and a few quick rest stops, we successfully completed the entire hike in just 3 hours. It was the perfect combination of fitness, nature, and adventure. This hike is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a challenging yet rewarding outdoor experience in the Bay Area.
