Finlay Road Oyster Point Trail, 7Miles, 1251 Cal, 2 Hr 40 Min, Elevation-1818Ft
After a long time it was pleasant weather for a good long hike. With back to back parties we needed a much longer hike to shed of those extra calories :). We had one new member join us for today's hike. It's been a while since we had hiked in this park. One thing to keep in mind for this hike is not to wear shorts. Most of the trail had a very narrow path and several stretches of the hike had tall grass, poison oak plants all over and some small plants with sharp thorns. Also note, this trail has no parking area, we have to park along the side of the road nd walk 0.75 mi to reach the trailhead. . I felt the hike was a bit tough just because that we haven't been doing long hikes recently.

Martin Canyon Trail, 4.5 miles, 800 Kcal, 2 hr, Elevation 700 Ft
This trail has become very convenient for us especially when our day is booked up with other appointments. It's near ans offers share for the most part. Only caveat is the trail has lot f poison oak tress along the trail. Some portions of the trail are very narrow and it's likely one may grab poison oak plan just for support :). So watch out and be careful all the way. Otherwise, the trail offers good share nice view points, small creek, Coyotes, Horses. We have been coming to this Trail very frequently but never explored alternative routes so far. One thing we make sure every time we do this hike is posing after we reach the summit.

HIdden Vallley Ridge Trail, 4.8 miles, 960Kcal, 2hr 10min
It's long weekend!! We had to move our hiking plan to Friday in order to watch FIFA matches. So we wanted to do a hike near our home just to be back by 9AM to watch quarter finals match France vs Germany. Also for this hike, we have few more friends joined. The Sun was out by 7A.M. I personally don't like to do this trail in summer as it doesn't offer any shade. With severe drought all the grass turned golden yellow and soil is pretty dry. It gives completely different picture during monsoon season vs in summer. On our way back home we saw a skeleton bone of a snake :).
